This covers the risk factors for disease, physiologic responses, and the information needed to perform an exercise assessment on patients with any diagnosis. It enables the learner to assess exercise tolerance impairments in order to develop appropriate exercise prescriptions, exercise testing protocols, and interpretation of exercise testing. The course discusses cases of complex patients and presents factors to consider to assist in improving exercise compliance, as well as individualizing exercise prescriptions.
